Release Notes – AppAgile PaaS

Starting by Q2-2017*, every quarter, AppAgile will release a new AppAgile PaaS release, which adds new functionality to the products. Below you’ll find the release notes to AppAgile PaaS:

AppAgile PaaS release Q2-2017

By end of June 2017 AppAgile PaaS announced the Q2-2017 release. This release included the following functionalities and updates for new environments:

  • OpenShift version 3.4 for all AppAgile PaaS platform options
  • Recovery functionality for AppAgile Azure Hybrid, based on Azure Recovery Service.
  • Global availability: AppAgile Azure Hybrid is deployable at additional Azure regions within Azure Microsoft Cloud Deutschland.
  • Global availability: AppAgile Azure Hybrid is deployable at additional Azure regions within Azure global (US).
  • Backup: Increasing availability (Global Redundant Storage – GRS), performance and stability of Backup by using Azure Backup Service. In addition the retention time increased from 7 to 35 days.

AppAgile PaaS release Q3-2017

By end of September 2017 AppAgile PaaS announced the Q3-2017 release. This release included the following functionalities and updates for new environments:

  • Feature to create voucher via CRM incl. billing (OTC)
  • Sales Documentation evaluable for AppAgile (OTC)
  • Fast provisioning of AppAgile (one day) (Azure)
  • Customer is able to bring his own Azure subscription (Azure)
  • Product option “Elastic Search, Fluentd & Kibana (EFK) and Managed EFK” for AppAgile (Azure)
  • Managed Services PostgreSQL
  • Inlife measures to fix errors or increase stability (17)

AppAgile PaaS release Q4-2017

By end of December 2017 AppAgile PaaS announced the Q4-2017 release. This release included the following functionalities and updates for new environments:

  • OpenShift version 3.6 for all AppAgile PaaS platform options
  • High performance Storage (SSD)
  • Easy access from all customer environments to Atomic Registry
  • Managed Service Metric Stack
  • Managed Service nginx
  • Managed Service OpenJDK (Java)
  • Managed Service Zipkin Stack
  • Managed Service Python

AppAgile PaaS release Q1-2018

By end of March 2018 AppAgile PaaS announced the Q1-2018 release. This release included the following functionalities and updates for new environments:

  • Product option “PLUS Connection”
  • Consumption 3.6
  • Central single sign on by Red Hat SSO (Red Hat SSO 7.1 based on  KeyCloak 3) for AppAgile PaaS on OTC
  • Provisioning persistent storage directly in the AppAgile portal (OTC) – customer self service
  • Managed Service: Set-up Managed Services Framework on Azure
  • Managed Azure Service SQL
  • Managed Azure Service Redis
  • Inlife measures to fix errors or increase stability (9)

Planned features for the next AppAgile PaaS releases

The following features are planned for the next releases. Inlife Measures are planned as well, but not mentioned below. Please note: T-Systems reserves the right to move or remove planned features without mentioning reasons. T-Systems is under no obligation to publish any new releases, either in content or in time.
